Shimano E-TUBE PROJECT app
With the E-TUBE PROJECT app, you can connect wirelessly to your smartphone and tablet to customise and adjust your ride. With the user-friendly interface, the latest firmware can be effortlessly updated and you can easily check the causes and solutions of error codes in the application. Two ready-made profiles ready to be customised to suit your needs: varied terrain – such as forest roads and trails, and demanding riding – maximum assistance without compromising control. It is easy to change the riding profile from the display, such as commute and off-road riding. The app supports iOS and Android operating systems.

Restriction:

Stop using until the temperature drops. If this does not help, contact the shop where you bought the bike.

Have your dealer adjust the chain tension and crank installation direction.

Replace a shifting unit supported by the system. If this does not help, contact the shop where you bought the bike.

Turn the power OFF and then ON again. If it does not help, connect the unit to the E-TUBE program and follow the instructions. If the fault persists, contact the shop where you bought the bike.

Adjust the position of the speed sensor and magnet, turn the power on and rotate the crank clockwise until the error disappears. It may be necessary to rotate 100 rounds.

Have the dealer configure the drive unit so that the setting “total number of gears” matches the number of gears in the hub gear.

Have your dealer adjust the chain tension and crank installation angle. Then select “Yes” to answer question W031, which will appear when the power is turned on for the first time.
