Helkama has launched four new e-bike models

Helkama’s new Carbon H, CX, SE11A and SEA11AL models combine the latest technology with stylish and timeless design. Ride comfort has been improved with versatile equipment.

The powerful high-quality Shimano motor of Helkama e-bikes is a silent travel companion that makes the ride effortless.

“We want to offer versatile options for different trips and terrains. The numerous new features and equipment options make it easier to customise the e-bike according to your needs,” says Jussa Lauhamaa, Sales and Marketing Director at Helkama Velox.

An automatic gear set makes cycling comfortable and effortless

Helkama Carbon H 11sp 28” and Helkama SE11A 11sp 28” e-bikes are equipped with Autoshift gear sets. The latter is also available as the low-frame Helkama SE11AL 11sp 28”.

The Autoshift gear set changes gears automatically, as the name suggests. This ensures that pedalling is effortless, whatever the terrain. The predictive sensor system selects the right gear by monitoring the cadence, torque and speed.

“The system automatically changes to a lower gear when stopping, for example, and a suitable gear also when starting off. The cyclist can therefore trust that the most suitable gear is in use throughout the journey,” Lauhamaa says.

Jopo fans picked the new colours

The Finnish favourite bike Jopo has received many new colour options. Jopo fans voted three new colours from the different options for the spring 2024 range. The new Jopo shades are purple, light blue and pink.

Helkama Carbon H – carbon-frame e-bike for demanding rides

Helkama Carbon H 11sp 28″ is a carbon-frame hybrid e-bike designed for commuting and leisure rides. The model uses high-end components and state-of-the-art technology, ensuring an excellent riding experience on a variety of terrains and over long distances. The bicycle is equipped with an 11-speed Shimano Autoshift gear set. Riding comfort is enhanced by the FOX AWL 100 mm front suspension and the silent Shimano EP6 motor with 85 Nm of torque.

Helkama SE11A and SE11AL – fully equipped e-bike

Helkama SE11A 11sp 28” and the corresponding low-frame model SE11AL11sp 28“ offer a versatile ride experience for commuting and leisure. The bikes feature the Shimano EP6 motor with 85 Nm of torque, Shimano Autoshift gear set and Shimano CUES hydraulic brakes. Safe city riding is guaranteed by integrated front and rear lights, as well as many other top features. RockShox Paragon suspension fork with air springs evens out bumps. Shimano Autoshift shifts gears automatically. The technology ensures the right gear in any terrain and situation. The SE11A and SE11AL bikes can be connected to the Shimano E-Tube Project app via Bluetooth for adjusting the ride settings wirelessly.

Helkama CX – E-hybrid for year-round use

The new low-frame Helkama CX 10sp 28″ is a versatile e-bike that is excellently suited for commuting, day-to-day use, city riding and off-road use. Thanks to the wide 27.5-inch tyres of the bike, riding is stable on diverse terrains, from gravel roads to trails and snow – this way, trips are light all year round. The low step-through frame makes it easy to get on the bike. Ride comfort is enhanced by the high-quality Suntour XCR32 AIR front suspension and the 10-speed Shimano CUES gear set designed for high-end city and commuter bikes. The bike also has a powerful Shimano EP6 motor, a long-lasting battery and a clear colour LCD display.
