The lightweight 2.8-kg motor allows for a feel similar to a conventional mountain bike. The motor is intended for demanding offroad riding and going over roots and rocks on the route, and therefore it is very well suited for a fatbike. The Helkama FE10 fatbike has a ten-speed Shimano Deore gear set and hydraulic Shimano MT200 disc brakes.
The frame and front fork feature fittings for various racks and bags, so the bicycle is also well suited for touring. These accessories are not included, but they can be purchased separately from your closest Helkama retailer.

The motor allows for a ride similar to a regular mountain bike and because it is small, it can be mounted on a similar frame. Its low profile and durable protective casing are designed for demanding off-road riding.
